The Ultra Comfy Lock Up has been designed to suit very sensitive mouthed horses. The shape follows the contour of the horse’s tongue. The centre joint has been doubled locked to ensure that the angle over the tongue remains correct, even when the reins are taken up.
The Ultra comfy has a generous curve, to follow the shape of the horse’s mouth.
Available in a thickness of 14MM
The Ultra Comfy is more ergonomically shaped, offering a generous curve, to follow the shape of the horses mouth. It incorporates the comfy bend to decrease the pinch and nutcracker effect of conventional bit designs and adds a Vertical twist upwards creating some tongue relief.

I bought this bit for my horse as he never seemed totally settled in his usual bit which may have been down to too much tongue pressure. He is far better in the Bomber Ultra Comfy snaffle and is more relaxed and elevated, and we now have more harmonious schooling sessions! I've heard other horse owners recommend Bomber bits and Jodie's Bit Bank offers a vast array; this choice really helped me decide which would be best for him. Highly recommend this bit for horses who don't take to lozenges and I recommend the Bit Bank service for fantastic choice and knowledgeable advice.
