Description
Fager John is the ideal choice If you would describe your horse as the following;
Strong and stiff but can still be sensitive.
Inconsistent in the contact.
Have difficulty finding a bit in which this horse is happy.
Fager John is a Double-Jointed Beval bit. Our bits are designed to have a 100% smooth surface, including around the joints. The joints are designed and constructed to ensure they never push against the palate or sit on top of the bars. All these clever features result in an extremely comfortable bit which naturally fits the contours of the tongue.
The straight, slim design enhances the aids, creating more direct and precise communication than ever before.
Fullcheek sidepieces give a framed and stable feeling. It can help with steering and bending, keeping the horse's shoulders in place. It also protects the mouth corners from getting pinched or rubbed.
When using a gag rein through the rings, you will get a flexible, soft feeling in the hand. This can also be good for horses that get long and low, heavy and strong where you need a lighter feeling in the hand.
When using a gag rein through the rings, we recommend using a second rein connected to the snaffle ring as well.
Gag cheeks are not included.
