Description

Do you want to create the illusion of a double bridle but without using two mouthpieces?

The revolutionary design of the NS Show Pelham cheek creates the illusion of doubles but only uses one mouthpiece. This is an innovative, lightweight, elegant design. Since the NS Show Pelham snaffle ring is designed to turn freely, it greatly reduces poll pressure, and subsequently allows more lift from the shoulder than the traditional Pelham. This action is also beneficial for horses that tend to overbend in a curb. The NS Slimma mouthpiece is anatomically designed to take up very little room in the mouth bridging the tongue and contouring snugly under the upper palate leaving much more space for the bridoon.

Customer Reviews

Average customer rating:

I have a maxi cob who I show and I needed to get him going in a double bridle/Pelham as I was being marked down for riding in a snaffle. I tried him in a rubber Pelham, as suggested by my instructor, but he wasn't happy in it. He has a very fleshy mouth and tongue, has a habit of getting his tongue over the bit and also backing away from the bit when worried. Where to start with that lot! Jodie suggested the NS Slimma Show Pelham straight off and wow, what a good choice. He is very happy in it, he has become very still in his head carriage, there is plenty of room for this bit in his mouth and he accepts it completely. It also looks very smart and is pretty convincing as a double! Thanks Jodie!
