A horse shaking its head when bit pressure is applied or its tongue trying to escape the bit are classic signs the horse has a sensitive tongue. With this in mind the Happy Tongue was created, it has a medium port creating space for the tongue, relieving pressure, allowing the horse to relax.

The Loose Ring allows for immediate release and relief from tongue and bar pressure which will reset the bit in the horses mouth.

Customer Reviews

Average customer rating:

I recently tried a Bombers Bit Titanium Happy Tongue Loose Ring on a few of our horses, one in particular has a 'tongue issue', having tried various options it was suggested that we try this one. Normally he is quite resistant in both hands and 'fussy' with his tongue, the difference felt when changing him to this bit was immediate, he now feels soft and even in each hand, feels more manoeuvrable within the contact and generally a lot more comfortable in himself! The lightness of the bit is quite remarkable and I will definitely be trying it on more horses
